APA Citations: Home

This guide is designed to assist you with Citations for both in text references and reference pages for the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 7th Edition. Use the tabs at the top of the page to navigate this guide; the tabs are organized by topic.

• The APA: The Core Elements tab includes information on formatting a reference page. The Elements also include examples of formatting for authors and editors. Additional information included under the Core Elements concerns titles of books and journals as well as formatting for publication data. Finally, examples for in text citations can be found under APA: In Text Citations tab.
• For examples of sources for a reference page, select the APA Examples tab.
