Finding Scholarships & Other Financial Aid

This government document provides "a “to do” list, starting with elementary school, to help students prepare academically and financially for education beyond high school. Each section is split into subsections for students and parents, explaining what to do and which publications or websites might be useful to them."

This publication provides basic information on federal student aid to help you pay for college or career school.

This Congressional Research Service report "identifies various online sources for planning and acquiring funds for postsecondary education. Some resources also contain information on repaying, forgiving,or discharging educational debt. Students are often in the best position to determine which aid programs they may qualify for and which best meet their needs. This list includes both general and comprehensive sources, as well as those targeted toward specific types of aid and circumstances (e.g., non-need-based scholarships; female and minority students; students studying abroad; or veterans, military personnel, and their dependents)."
