What's Happening: Physical science assistant professor Rick Bartlett will discuss everything you need to know for the upcoming solar eclipse of a lifetime. The last total solar eclipse visible in Ohio was in 1806. The next total solar eclipse in Ohio will be in the year 2099. The next total solar eclipse that can be seen from the contiguous United States will be Aug. 23, 2044.

What's Happening: Lakeland Astronomy Instructor Joe Peterlin and Librarian Megan Mamolen will give a free presentation with information and resources about the solar eclipse, including Joe's personal photos and video from the 2017 eclipse and a research guide highlighting library books, articles, and local events. Free snacks will be provided!
