Since Lakeland's university center programs began on August 27, 2011, hundreds of area residents have enrolled at the Holden University Center to complete their bachelor's or graduate degrees.

The Honors Program at Lakeland offers leadership development and opportunities for service, travel and social activities while providing an excellent academic experience.

The Lakeland Learning Center is committed to providing equitable and quality academic support services to help students strengthen the skills and mindsets necessary to improve learning and promote academic independence as they work to achieve their educational goals. Lakeland's remote learning concierge provides responsive, interactive assistance to students taking online classes to help them overcome barriers to their success. The concierge is available to assist students if they need help accessing or using technology, learning effective time management strategies, or making connections to other support services on campus, such as tutoring!

The Transfer Center strives to provide a seamless process for students transferring college credits TO and FROM Lakeland Community College.

Our facility is equipped with free weights, nautilus equipment, treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes and more. We have an indoor track, basketball and racquetball courts as well as locker rooms and showers. The AFC is free to all current Lakeland and Holden University Center students.

Students with disabilities are provided comprehensive support and accommodations at Lakeland. Students are encouraged to meet with counselors as early as possible in the enrollment process to discuss and coordinate identified accommodations.

Lakeland students, faculty, staff, and administrators are encouraged to access free mental health and resilience resources anonymously through links and videos on this guide.

Lakeland's Hispanic Program helps you get through the easy - and tough – times in college. You'll have a support system with peers who understand you and are going through similar experiences with being first in their families to come to college and, in most cases, growing up bilingual.

HIVE offers makers a combination of virtual and scheduled in-person opportunities to make, tinker, and learn.

Our mission is still to support women who are Lakeland students, helping them meet their educational and personal goals, and we can do that via phone, email, text or video (Webex).

The mission of Student Engagement and Leadership is to provide co-curricular opportunities to encourage student leadership, personal and professional growth, and the embracing of human diversity.

Lakeland is committed to helping active duty personnel, veterans, reservists and dependents attain their personal and professional goals. The veterans center can help with questions about educational benefits, advice on how to fill out and complete VA forms and much more.

The Career Services Center assists current Lakeland students and alumni to obtain employment and career-related experiential learning, both on and off campus. All our services are free for Lakeland Students and Alumni.

Lakeland's Financial Aid office is committed to working with you to find ways to make your college education affordable for you and your family.

Lakeland provides an on-site childcare center for the children of students who are enrolled in credit classes at the college or at the Holden University Center.

Lakeland's Teaching Learning Center (TLC) provides children, ages 16 months through Pre-K, with a developmentally appropriate education using a curriculum that is based on discovery, guided exploration and play. More than a day care center, the TLC is an accredited day school for the pre-school aged child.
