News Literacy

Not all information is created equal. Students-- and all citizens-- need to be able to distinguish between fact and fiction, between truth and misguided or purposefully misleading stories. "News literacy" refers to the ability to use critical thinking skills to judge the reliability and credibility of news reports and information sources. This guide is designed to provide information and resources to help aid in that cause.
