Library Services Platform (LSP) Migration Update

Happening now:

  • OhioLINK and Interlibrary Loan lending are paused to enable complete migration of library data during the next several weeks. Please reach out to a reference librarian for alternative resources.
  • Lakeland's circulation staff can still check out Lakeland print books to patrons! Thank you for your patience as we check items out manually until June 9th.

Happening Summer, 2025:

  • Both FiSH and the new Primo VE search will run for summer sessions. After June 9th, summer classes will have the option of using FiSH or Primo VE to search for books, e-books, and articles. We will completely switch to the new Primo VE search in early August, after summer classes end.
  • All research guides (LibGuides) and library homepages will be updated with new Primo VE links. Lakeland catalog (Lakeland books) and OhioLINK catalog (OhioLINK books) links have been removed. FiSH links will be removed in August.
  • All information literacy session handouts will be updated to reflect the new resources.
  • All library video tutorials will be updated.
  • Instructors: Please reach out if you have a library resource embedded in your Blackboard course site and you think it may need to be updated!

Time to Laugh

Laughing

Did you know librarians also have a sense of humor?

Why did the cardiologist recommend that his patients go to the library?

He heard they’re good for circulation.

What did the librarian tell the person who checked out 100 books?

Don’t overdue it.

Librarians love a good joke—

They always get the reference.
